A reclass year can mean a lot to a student-athlete. It can mean the difference, between starting on the high school varsity team or playing on the junior varsity team with minimum minutes. It can mean the difference between going Division I or II on an athletic scholarship, athletic scholarship or having to pay for college. The physical and monetary investment can be the best investment ever
8th Grade reclass curriculum (8GR)
Our 8GR curriculum is the only curriculum developed for student athletes who have already finished 8th grade. It is a mix of 8th grade brush ups and high school level work. The courses will make the reclass year make sense academically as well and not just on the athletic side.
All 8GR students also take the ‘365’ course which is a course developed for student athletes wanting to go to the next level. It includes subjects like nutrition, goal setting, nutrition, NIL, branding, and more. The course has proven to be a difference maker in young student athletes lives as it combines their academics, their sport & them as a person to give them a clear understanding of who they are, where they want to go and whats needed to get there.
Student Athlete + Family decision
Reclassing is a huge decision to make. It is a decision that will have an effect on the whole family. When reclassing the goal is to put the student athlete in the best possible position when they start high school and their NCAA clock starts ticking. After working with families and student athletes for years we have seen what happens when families understand the tool of the reclass year and optimize it. Therefore, included in the 8GR year is a course that the family and the student athlete go through right when the school year start. This course gives you a full understanding of how to set up the year and utilize the extra 365 days you have invested.
